Infographic Library

The New York State Environmental Technical Working Group (E-TWG) formed a Specialist Committee in June 2025 to aid in the dissemination of accurate, science-based information around the environmental impacts of offshore wind energy development. The committee developed an Infographic Library to house public-facing infographics on environmental topics relating to offshore wind energy development.

Instructions: Use the "Filter image by keyword" to view only the infographics that have the selected keyword: birds, fish, marine pollution, ocean systems, permitting, or protected species. Note, multiple keywords may apply to an individual infographic. For example, to view an infographic related to environmental laws/permitting for protected species, filtering by "protected species" or "permitting" will show the same infographic.

Click an individual infographic to access the complete image, associated caption, and original source/reference. Additionally clicking the underlined hyperlink under the caption will redirect you to the webpage where the infographic was sourced.
