State of the Science Workshop on Offshore Energy, Wildlife, and Fisheries 
June 8-11, 2026

On Campus Housing

There is an on-campus housing option for the 2026 State of the Science. Attendees may book a room in a campus dorm (either an individual room or an entire suite for themselves and colleagues). 

Dorm Details:

  • Located on Stony Brook campus near the conference venue

  • Approximate price is $75 per bed, per night

  • Single-occupancy bedrooms (one bed per room)

  • Five single bedrooms per suite (shared common space and bathroom)

  • You may book an individual room or coordinate with colleagues to reserve a full suite

  • Gender-specific or non-specific suites are available.

Hotels

There are three hotels offering room blocks for State of the Science attendees. The Holiday Inn Express and Hyatt Regency are off-site; there will be a shuttle running between these hotels and the campus at select times on conference dates. The Hilton Garden Inn is an ~8 minute walk to the conference venue on campus. Please follow the instructions below to book your room. â€‹

Holiday Inn Express reservations can be made by following this link

Hyatt Regency reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 631-784-1234 or via this link. Those traveling under state or federal travel guidelines (per diem rate; state/federal ID required at check-in) should use this link.
